KICK OFF HACK4GROWTH INNOVATION CONTEST SEASON 2 – UNLIMITED

Hack4Growth is an innovation contest launched by AVSE Global (Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts) – one of the largest network of Vietnamese scientists and experts, under the patronage of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese – Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the ambition of igniting Vietnamese innovation culture through building a prominent platform for the innovators’ community in Vietnam, connecting them with investors, businesses, as well as those seeking innovative solutions.

Hack4Growth Season 1 has ended successfully with the participation of more than 500 contestants and over 150 idea submissions in various industries such as Agriculture, Tourism, Climate change, Healthcare, Education, etc. We also have attracted more than 30 mentors and advisors from over 15 countries with more than 1,000 hours of training and coaching for contestants.

In 2021, AVSE Global will launch Hack4Growth Season 2 – Unlimited with the aim of finding glocal innovators with brilliant ideas and projects as well as practical solutions to local challenges, which can be scaled at regional and international levels.

“START LOCAL – RISE REGIONAL – GROW GLOBAL” – Hack4Growth Season 2 – Unlimited with the mission of getting people together to create joint innovative effort, would like to call for Vietnamese people and people of Vietnamese origin around the world to find global solutions to regional and local issues; thereby contributing to enhancing Vietnam’s position and power in the international arena.

Hack4Growth Season 2 – Unlimited will:

• Maximize community strength through creating a platform for innovators to connect and seek teammates to carry out projects.
• Be conducted on an exclusive innovation platform developed by AVSE Global to leverage support for projects, connect contestants with the AVSE Global ecosystem, sponsors and partners
• Enable Mentor to participate as an active team member
• Offer top 20 networking opportunities with influencers
• Spearhead local solutions which can be scaled up to global level

Eligibility criteria: businesses or groups that have been in operation for less than 5 years with/without
tractions ; individuals from 18 years of age, including but not limited to students, entrepreneurs, enterprises, teachers, and graduate students in Vietnam or abroad.

The contest is tentatively open for registration from 16th April, 2021.

Hack4Growth unlimited! will be:

• The biggest competition to connect provinces and the startup community thanks to the patronage of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
• A pioneering innovation competition is organized at an international scale with its regional chapters held in 5 crucial innovative hubs including Vietnam, Europe, America, Japan, and Australia, through connection and partnership with top-notch innovation communities at both regional and global levels.
• The competition is extensively supported by a large community of 10,000+ international experts, advisors, and partners from over 20 countries and territories. Participants, advisors, and partners will stay connected via an exclusive platform developed by AVSE Global.
